By accessing the Environmental Burial website, you agree to the terms below. The site is provided free of charge as an informational resource.
What we provide
Environmental Burial publishes independently researched information about UK natural burial grounds. Listings are verified through direct contact with each site, and a verification date is shown on every listing page. We publish what we can confirm at the time of verification, and update listings when facts change.
No funeral services
Environmental Burial is not a funeral provider, a funeral director, or a burial ground operator. We do not sell plots, arrange burials, or act as an intermediary between families and burial grounds. Any arrangement must be made directly with the burial ground or a funeral director of your choosing.
Accuracy of information
We take care to verify facts directly, but information — particularly pricing — may change between verification rounds. Every listing displays the date it was last confirmed. You should always contact the burial ground directly before making any decision. We do not accept liability for decisions based on information that has changed since the listed verification date.
No warranty
The directory is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing remains current at the time you read it. Where third-party services (such as image hosts) are used, their availability is outside our control.
External links
Where we link to external resources, those links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content of third-party websites.
Intellectual property
The written content, design, and structure of this site are the property of Environmental Burial. You may not reproduce, republish, or scrape directory content without written permission. Burial ground names and factual data (addresses, pricing) are not claimed as intellectual property.
